Summer 2020 Update - 07-01-2020

7/1/20 Update: There is still no place we would rather be this July than with you at Camp Evergreen, but due to rising COVID cases and the recent COVID related closure of a neighboring summer camp, we feel that the wise decision is to cancel our summer sessions. We are incredibly disappointed but trusting in God's plans. Please visit our FAQ’s below for more information on handling your current registration. What are my options if my session is canceled?

All 2020 sessions have been canceled, you will be emailed and asked to fill out and submit THIS FORM.  Forms will be processed in the order that they are submitted.  The online form asks you to choose from the following options.  If at all possible, we ask you to consider not asking for a full refund as Camp Evergreen typically counts on revenue from summer to make operations and ministry possible for the rest of the year.

Option 1: Current deposits and full payments can be applied to the 2021 session of your choice.  In choosing this option, you lock in the 2020 session price and a spot is guaranteed as long as you register during the specified Priority Pre-Registration timeslot.

Option 2: You may choose to transform the full or partial amount of your registration payment into a tax-deductible donation to ongoing support of the Camp Evergreen ministry.  We will gladly issue you a tax receipt.

Option 3: You may request to receive a full refund.

What are the benefits of allowing Camp Evergreen to hold my money to put toward a 2021 session OR making a donation to the camp?

We will mail you a “NO PLACE I WOULD RATHER BE” 2020 camp t-shirt! You lock in the 2020 registration price for 2021 and guarantee a spot in the session of your choice as long as you register during the designated Priority Pre-Registration time frame. You financially support our ministry this summer as well as our ongoing operations and ministry the rest of the year. Camp Evergreen is a registered non-profit.  All donations are tax-deductible.  A receipt will be mailed to you.

If I hold my money to put toward a 2021 session, how do I register in the fall?

Camp Evergreen will open up Priority Pre-registration exclusively for families who transfer their registration to 2021.  We will guarantee a spot in the session of your choice if you register during the designated Priority Pre-Registration time frame.

Will there be a way my child can experience Camp Evergreen from home?

Yes, our staff is working hard to provide an Evergreen Experience you can do from home. Don’t miss our how-to videos, crafts featured on our Quarantine Page, Facebook and Instagram.

What about your three mission camps?  Are they canceled too?

No matter what, we believe that it’s crucial to stay true to our missional calling. Camp Evergreen will communicate directly with our partner organizations to make or cancel plans.  It is our hope that we can possibly reschedule these camps for the Fall.
