2025 Summer Camp Dates

Day Camp

Mountain Laurel

5-Day Camp (M-F, 9am-4pm)
Grades: Rising 1st-5th

Mountain Laurel is an evergreen shrub rather than a tall tree, and it needs more water than other plants. Similarly, our Mountain Laurel Day camps are for our younger, smaller campers who receive lots of extra love and care as they seamlessly merge into ongoing Overnight Camp Sessions.

Day campers experience all the fun of summer camp without the intimidation of spending the night away from parents. Count on exciting activities, crazy games and creative crafts. Transportation is available from Moccasin Creek State Park (for Lake Burton boaters) and Clarkesville United Methodist Church for an additional $25 per session.

Overnight Camp Options

Seedling

4-Day Camp
Grades: Rising 2nd-5th

A tree seedling should be planted in fertile soil and given plenty of water.  A seedling concentrates all of its energy on developing strong roots.

Seedling Sessions are excited to “dig in” to a new experience, but aren’t ready for a full week away from home. They provide the perfect opportunity for getting “rooted” in faith and in the summer camp experience.

All the traditional camp activities are packed into four exciting days. Many campers begin as overnight “seedlings,” but as they grow to love Camp Evergreen so much that they just have to spend more time at camp next year!

2025 Seedling Dates
june 15-18, july 6-9

Session Fees: $675, or $755 with horseback riding

Alder

Grades: Rising 3rd-6th

Alder trees thrive particularly along streams of water, just like the person described in Psalm 1 who follows God’s law: “That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season...”

Alder 7-Day Camps provide a full week to really immerse kids in camp life!

This week has it all – daily morning worship and evening chapel services that really nourish and grow faith, the full gamut of traditional camp activities and crazy evening Wild Time all-camp games, campers have the time of their lives!

Session Fees: $925, or $1005 with horseback riding

Grand Fir

10-Day Camp
Grades: Rising 4th-8th

A Grand Fir tree grows tall and stately, and it’s known to have the strongest pine-y fragrance of all the Evergreens. As they grow and mature in their faith, we want our Grand Fir campers to learn to live their lives as a “fragrant offering” to God (Eph. 5:2)!

This longer camp session for our older campers includes all the traditional camp activities of our shorter sessions, while adding camp-out on Mount Winfield, the RidicOlympics, Lazy Day, kayaking on Lake Burton, and many more special Evergreen experiences.

2025 Grand Fir Dates
june 15-24

Session Fees: $1175, or $1255 with horseback riding

Sequoia

14-Day Camp
Grades: Rising 5th-9th

The Sequoia is the world’s most massive tree. It’s nearly indestructible, able to survive damaging winds, fire, and insects because of its thick bark. We want our Sequoia campers to learn to stay strong in their faith, no matter what obstacles they face.

This session for our oldest campers is the grand finale to our summer camp experiences. It includes all the traditional camp activities of our shorter sessions, while adding unique experiences such as Evergreen Survivor, Super Saturday, and Mystery Day Trip.
