Family Camp

Are you looking for a reason to be a kid again? Sign up for our family camp weekend to experience Camp Evergreen with your kids!

Registration opens March 18, 2024.

Strengthen the Family Tree

We believe in the importance of connecting as a family and invite you to:

  • Listen to the music of the gurgling creek instead of the noise of the highway.

  • Sit by the glow of the campfire instead of the TV.

  • Linger over a family style meal instead of rushing through the drive-thru.

  • Worship in shorts and t-shirts without ironing shirts and hunting dressy shoes.

  • Wake-up to hot coffee and a canoe ride instead of an alarm clock and morning rush.

  • Reconnect with your family on a deeper level while renewing your childlike wonder.

Family camps often branch out beyond the traditional family as well. Evergreen has hosted cabins of dads and sons, cousin sleepovers and groups of friends who are like family.

Frequently Asked Questions

A few Family Camp FAQs are answered below, but you can also contact Camp Director Katie about any specifics.

  • Each family will be in a rustic, private cabin (think one step up from camping) which consists of bunk beds and a simple, en-suite bathroom and shower. We do not have A/C in our cabins but do have screened windows, which can be opened at night if needed.

We do ask you to bring your own linens and toiletry items.

  • We do not include linens, we ask you to bring your own sheets and sleeping bags for the weekend.

  • Our desire is for you to be fully present during your weekend at camp. We do not have WIFI and there is spotty cell service. We’ve observed that our families have so much fun off the grid, they don’t miss their phones!

  • Though all ages are welcome, families with children ages 5 and up would be able to get the most out of our family camp offerings.

  • We do not offer childcare. The vision for our family camps is for families to build memories and adventure together in God’s beautiful creation. Since our family camp spans the length of a weekend, we have it packed with intentional programming to make it easy to enjoy time together.

  • Due to liability and property concerns, we do not allow pets at Family Camps.
