We believe that summer camp is for everyone. That’s why we dedicate three weeks each summer to offering an amazing camp experience to 180+ economically-disadvantaged kids both from Atlanta and from the counties surrounding camp—at no cost to their families.

Why We Do It

Beyond just offering summer camp to those who can afford it, we are committed to offering the camp experience to economically-disadvantaged kids for almost half of each summer. Firmly believing that everyone deserves the opportunity to connect with God, nature and each other, our staff and donors participate in offering transformative experiences to these campers—some of whom have never paddled a canoe or seen a firefly. 

Since 2000, we’ve partnered with Atlanta- and North Georgia-based agencies and ministries to identify hundreds of deserving scholarship camper recipients and because of the immense generosity of our donors, we are able to offer an exceptional summer camp experience without placing any financial burdens on their families.

For many scholarship campers, this will be their first-ever camp experience. Our hope is that experiencing the joys of summer camp and being in nature can give them the freedom to just simply enjoy being a kid.
