With 18 waterfront and nature-based daily activities and 50+ unique and silly choice time and “wild time” adventures offered throughout the summer, campers enjoy good, old-fashioned, unplugged fun.
Woodcraft
We love getting creative with a hammer, nails and a piece of wood.
Waterfall Hike
Take a plunge in Hemlock Falls at the midpoint of this fun, two-mile out and back hike. It’s an Evergreen tradition!
Ziplining
Zip down to Lake Deann—if you so dare!
4-Way Perpetual Capture the Flag
A Camp Evergreen Wild Time classic.
Horseback Riding
A camper favorite off-property excursion offered once each session.
Theme Days
From Half Christmas, Evergreen Survivor and RidicOlympics to numerous surprises along the way, we love a good theme day at Camp Evergreen.
Canoe & Kayak
As our younger campers learn basic canoe skills in Lake Deann, our older Alder Adventure, Grand Fir and Sequoia campers get to experience several unique adventures—including a kayak outing on Lake Burton.
Survival Skills
Whether it’s pitching a tent, starting a fire or foraging in nature, survival skills are a lost art we love teaching at camp.
Barn Dance
Offered the final week of the summer to celebrate all the fun we’ve had—and test out some crazy dance moves!
Frisbee Golf
How many throws will it take for you to hit a tree? [insert quiet golf clapping here]
Cabin Time
A space to wind down, connect with God and with each other.
